The Big First Young Republicans is structured to involve Young Republicans in each of the 69 counties of the First District by using technology to hold board meetings and annual in-person meetings to provide social and networking opportunities. The Johnson County Young Republicans meets monthly for a regular business meeting and to hear from guest speakers, candidates and office-holders. The JCYRs meet at 7:00 p.m. on the 1st Wednesday of the month at Barley's Brewhaus off I-435 and Midland Drive, or at an alternate location when listed. The SCYRs meet on the 4th Thursday of every month at 6:30 at Whiskey Creek Steakhouse in Old Town or an alternate location if listed. We also meet the second Friday of each month for Friday Fundays!
