DCYRs Hold Voter Registration Drive
Last July, members of the Douglas County Young Republicans hosted a
voter registration drive. Packing the day full of YR activities,
members began the morning picking up trash at a local park. After
lunch, eight DCYRs and their guests made more than 500 phone calls to
targeted voters in five legislative districts. They contacted likely
Republican voters prior to the primary registration deadline and
encouraged them to register to vote. The day concluded with the summer
KYR meeting and BBQ at the home of DCYR Trey Meyer.
